Chapter Ten
Lei and Faith.

Lei is watching Fortune run off towards the med-bay.
She sighs, having won the fight the two had because of a cheap shot.
People Snicker and Boo at the sergeant for breaking the fight.
"Aaaaw, Come on Sarge, post pone the tests! They need to finish the fight!" A young private yells.
Everybody just looks at him and bolts.
"So, Private.... Whats your name, Son." The Sargent sounds pissed.
"... P-Private.... Private Tucker, sir." The Private is quivering.
"Well, Tucker, Go and give me 100 push-ups, then you run laps of the entire base until I say stop, Am I clear?!" The Sergent yells as loudly as he can right in Tuckers face.
The young private runs off like a madman after rushing the push-ups.
"Sir, Thanks.... Wait, did he say Tucker? What, is his dad a fan of Red Vs Blue or something?" Lei says jokingly to the sarge.
He just laughs.
"Yeah, Maybe... Oh, by the way, your wanted by Fortune's Drake... Faith." He nods at Lei, who picks up her gear and makes a run for the Barrack they`re camped in.
Faith has her head on Fortunes bed, like she did earlier that morning. Accept the bed has been made and she`s tidied up her metal pile by stacking the pieces, shining them, all of this stuff.
It`s her hoard, and Lei, is personally amazed at the fact the Faith tired up the massive pile, which now decorates the entire room.
"Holy Crap, Faith! You cleaned up your pile.... It`s all very.... shiny." Lei sits on the bed where Faith lay her head, as she raises it.
"Yeah, do you think Fortune will like it?" Faith asks in a strange sounding tone.
".... Why?" Lei already knows what she`s gonna say before she says it.
"... I like Fortune... But he`s human and... I dunno what to do." Faith is obviously embarrassed, as she puts her head under the entire bed.
"You.. Like Him. I knew you did. He told me what you done in your sleep. You layed your head over him. Thats a small sign of affection among Drakes, isn`t it?" Lei states and asks.
"Yes. Of Course. We also like shiny things..." Faith says, she gets mesmerized by staring at one of the bigger chunks of metal that she polished.
"Faith? Faith!" Lei pokes Faith with her knife. The blade does nothing against her scaled side, but it`s felt enough that she sits up.
"What happened? I got lost looking at the shiny...." Faith smiles.
"Your much like Dragons in the old Human Legends, You Drakes." Lei is staring at Faith who is stuck staring at the polished metal again.
"Huh? What? Dragons? Oh, they`re our ancient Ancestors, Lei." Faith doesn`t realize what she said. It`s an secret of the Drakes.
"... I never said that!" Faith yells at Lei.
".... Your related to... Dragons? Wow.... I Love Dragons. I was wondering why you looked so similar to them..." Lei smiles, and picks up a piece of shiny metal.
When Faith see`s it move, she looks at it. Lei waves it around and Faith follows it around in a trance.
Lei starts to laugh at Faith, because she throws it outside. Faith follows the little piece of metal.
"I got it! I got it! I GOT IT!!!" Faith faceplants trying to catch the metal. She whimpers and heads back.
"You tricked me..." Faith says darkly at Lei, who is still laughing at Faith.
The two talk for a while after that. Both are waiting for Fortune to simply show up.
They head to the training courts and Faith watches Lei fire her SMG down the range.
