En Tau Gaus Chapter 2

"Well..." Traes is considering taking the hatchling laying at what looks like barely a meter from where he originally hatched.
"Yes. Yes, We will take him home. We should name..."
"It`s Resic. It says so on the note, see? Resic Adorna." Reign is still reading through the note.
"His care-takers left him here because they were both very sick. And The healers couldn`t cure them. They`re probably dead, Traes." Reign nuzzles little Resic.
They both gently get him onto his feet, get him something to eat from a nearby store, and assist him in walking home.
Resic whimpers and cries during the long walk, due to pain he feels through out his weakened body.
Reign walks over him, in a protective fashion, while Traes always watches ahead.
They`re becoming very protective of Resic, making sure that he`s capable of continuing the walk on his way to his new home.
The streets of En Tau Gaus very slowly fill up with Dragons and some other creatures, who are simply traveling traders spending time in En Tau Gaus` Rich environment.
A nearby hatchling see`s Resic, and goes up to his parents.
"Um... Is the little baby Dragon okay?" The hatchling is simply concerned for Resic.
"No. He`s an orphan. We found him laying in an alley... So were taking him home." Traes is straight-forward.
The hatchling, obviously larger and older than Resic, pats Resic on the gap between his small wings before moving back to it`s parents.
Reign and Traes arrive at their home, near the back part of En Tau Gaus in the Middle District.
It has a large symbol on a piece of wall outside his home, which is also on the gate leading into the yard. Sun-light is seen inside the mountain, because of a large, specially crafted cavern in the upper part of the mountain.
Resic smiles, picking up the scent of something sweet.
When he gets taken through his yard, he smiles, because of the colours from nearby flowers and plants.
When it comes to the front door, and his parents open it, Resic gets to go inside first. He`s sick, and barely able to stand, so he crawls inside slowly.
"One of us should go get a healer. One of those Traveling Human ones." Reign is looking at the street, across a path at an Inn for humans.
"I`ll go. You stay with Resic." Traes smiles at Reign and licks her lovingly, before moving off to get one of the healers.
Reign goes inside. Resic is laying down next to a large Fireplace, it`s un-lit.
"It`s very cold... That can`t be good for a sick Hatchling." Reigns expression goes to a sad one, she lays next to Resic.
She reaches for some planks of wood, and puts them in the fire place. She opens her mouth and breathes fire onto the wood. They`re big pieces, so the burn strong, and for a much longer time.
"Mo.. Mother?" Resic says quitely.
"You spoke... I was expecting something like "Mummy" Or "Mama"... Ooooh, Your so sweet." Reign says in a happy voice.
She lowers her head to the ground, and lets it rest near the fire, Resic mimics her and does the same action.
Traes comes back from the Inn with a Human sitting on his back, dressed in Blue with a back-pack on.
"I got one. I`ve already paid his fee." Traes lowers the healer to the ground.
"Hello. I`m Jason. I`ve been a doctor for humans for a long time, but that got boring, so I`ve been doing it for Dragons instead." Jason smiles, and goes around to Resic.
"Oh... The colour from his scales seem a little faded... He`s enjoying the warmth quite a bit." Jason gets a tool from his bag, and crouches down to Resic's height.
He uses it to check Resic's temperature, aswell as other things.
"Well, he`ll be okay as long as you keep him warm, let him rest, and give him lots of attention. I also suggest giving him fish as a meal rather than anything else, until he recovers." Jason pats Resic and goes to Traes.
"He`ll be fine." Jason walks out the door and back to the Inn.
Resic is sitting up now. Looking around his new home, smiling a bit despite the pains he feels.
"He`s very sweet... We should probably give him something to eat before it gets late." Reign is sitting up aswell.
"I`ll cook it, seeing as we have a little hatchling, you should be caring for him." Traes nuzzles Reign, before heading into a different part of the cave-like home and starts making a small portion of fish for Resic, and other food for Reign and himself.
"Sleepy, Resic?" Reign is smiling brightly at Resic, after he let out a small yawn.
Resic shakes his head back and forth.
Reign smiles at little Resic, and continues to give him pretty much all of her attention.
Traes comes out a little while later with a meal for Resic.
Resic smiles at the small amount of fish given to him.
He sniffs it for a while, not sure whether to eat it or not.
Reign nudges him gently, encouraging him to eat it.
Resic takes little bites out of the fish, enjoying the way it`s cooked.
After he`s eaten, he lays down in the front of the room on the carpet close to the fire and falls asleep. Traes and Reign eat their meals quickly, and lift Resic up, carrying to a room where he will sleep..
It`s like a Nursery. They put him in a bed-like crib, and just give him their goodnights before they themselves head to sleep in another room.
Resic is asleep happily, finding peace in his dreams.
