Before The Siege

The Town Of Kalen, protected by its thick stone walls, is as busy at is would be any other day, the inhabitants doing their daily work as usual.
Some choose to train in the practice grounds, trying to get jobs as town guards.
Alone stand two people in the center of the town, by a large fountain, which is designed to be a place of relaxation in the hectic days of Kalen.
One of the two stands facing the fountain, looking into it`s clear water at his own reflection, sighing at the quite.
He turns to face the other figure, as they touch his hand.
It`s a woman, who is obviously close to the other, with worried look on her face.
"Tyson, don`t go... They don`t need you to fight!" The woman says, concerned, but calm.
"I have to go. If I don't, Kalen will get attacked..." Tyson says, gently grasping the girls hands.
"Okay, Tsuki? Me and the Militia will be fine. Trust me."
"Okay, Tyson, I trust you..." Tsuki says softly, before hugging Tyson tightly, her arms reaching around the armor plating that Tyson wears.
Tyson returns the gesture and heads for the gates of Kalen, unknowing of the misfortune and disaster that will happen there within a week.
